Dr. Melissa Burnett
BOARD CERTIFIED DERMATOLOGIST
Premier Dermatology was founded by Dr. Melissa Burnett in 2019. She is dual board-certified in Dermatology and Pediatric Dermatology. Dr. Burnett is an expert in cosmetic and medical dermatology and has been caring for patients in the Boston area for more than 15 years. Dr. Burnett graduated with Honors from Wellesley College, then went on to attend medical school in her home state of Vermont. Her internship and residency were completed at Massachusetts General Hospital and the University of Minnesota where she served as Chief Resident in her final year. Following residency, she returned to Boston and worked as a Clinical Associate in Dermatology at Massachusetts General Hospital and served as a Clinical Instructor at Harvard Medical School for ten years. In addition to her academic career, she has been in private practice since 2004 in Cambridge, Concord, and Wellesley. When not in the office you may find Dr. Burnett coaching soccer, skiing, or traveling with her husband and two teenage daughters.
Dr. Elissa Lunder
BOARD CERTIFIED DERMATOLOGIST
Elissa Lunder has been practicing dermatology for the past 20 years. She is a graduate of the Harvard/Massachusetts General Hospital Dermatology Residency program. She completed an internship in Internal Medicine and a phototherapy fellowship at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital. She received her MD from Boston University School of Medicine. Academically, she has been published in the New England Journal of Medicine and has written book chapters on phototherapy. She has been quoted in multiple magazines including Cosmopolitan, Shape and Fitness. She worked as a consultant for Vichy Laboratories, a Division of L’Oreal Paris and Howcast Media. She was also featured on Cindy Crawford’s infomercial. Her practice is a combination of general and cosmetic dermatology. Cosmetically, she believes less is more. A little bit of Botox and filler can make someone age gracefully without making them look over filled and unnatural. She has over 25 years of experience using lasers to treat brown spots, age spots and vascular lesions. Medically, she loves treating teenage acne, rashes and diagnosing skin cancers. She is a married mom of three kids, 2 in college and 1 in high school.
Dr. Virginia (Ginny) Moye
BOARD CERTIFIED DERMATOLOGIST
Virginia Moye, MD, MPH, is a board-certified dermatologist with expertise in medical, cosmetic, surgical and pediatric dermatology and an emphasis on providing care that is exceptional, compassionate, and customized for each patient.
She received her medical and public health degrees from the University of North Carolina before completing her dermatology residency at Brown University in 2018.
Using the latest medical innovations, treatments, and prevention strategies, Dr. Moye works with her patients to improve their skin health and overall quality of life. She enjoys caring for patients from diverse backgrounds and understands the right solution for one patient may not be the best for another.
Cosmetically, Dr. Moye takes a “less is more” approach with a focus on producing tailored, natural looking results for each patient. She also has a special interest in adult and teenage acne, skin cancer, and melasma.
In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, reading, and spending time with her husband and two kids, family and friends.
Kristen Rivard, MSN, ANP-BC, WHNP-BC, DCNP
BOARD CERTIFIED DERMATOLOGY NURSE PRACTITIONER
Kristen is a triple board-certified Nurse Practitioner. She is a Dermatology Certified Nurse Practitioner, Adult Nurse Practitioner and Women’s Health Care Nurse Practitioner with over 15 years of clinical experience in various specialities including gynecology, obstetrics, sexual health and dermatology. Kristen graduated from the College of the Holy Cross with a bachelors degree in biology. She then earned her Master of Science in Nursing from the MGH Institute of Health Professions in Boston where she was awarded The Excellence in Clinical Nursing Practice Award.
Kristen has a passion for patient education and helping people to achieve their highest quality of life by customizing a realistic plan which includes cutting edge medical and lifestyle interventions. She has authored many educational pamphlets for patients. In addition to working in Dermatology, she currently works with adolescents at local independent schools teaching comprehensive sexual health education and per diem at a reproductive health clinic.
Kristen loves her time in the office as well as away from the office! She enjoys spending time with her three teenage children, family and friends; traveling; and spending time at the beach, with her sunblock of course!
Katie
OFFICE MANAGER
Katie is our Office Manager who has 12 years of experience in the plastic surgery and beauty industry. Katie strives to provide the best patient care to ensure that you have a wonderful experience with us! Aside from managing the office Katie is also a licensed aesthetician. Katie loves to provide knowledge about how important good skin care is for you!
When not in the office, Katie loves spending quality time with her family and friends, boating in the summer, and anything fitness!
Vincent
HEAD OF HUMAN RESOURCES & PATIENT EXPERIENCE
Vincent holds the position of Head of Human Resources and Clinical Care Experience. He
received his Bachelor of Science in Management from Northeastern University in 2023 and has
an extensive customer service background of over 10 years. Before working for Premier
Dermatology, Vincent was a bookkeeper and receiver for Stop & Shop and waited tables during the
summers. His free time is spent running or exercising, taking care of his cat Lorelei, hanging out
with his close friends and family, reading, writing, or playing video games.
Jessie
MEDICAL ASSISTANT
Jessie has been a certified medical assistant for 8 years. Prior to working in dermatology, she has worked in orthopedics and plastic surgery. Jessie finds working in health care extremely rewarding. She enjoys caring for patients and making a difference in their lives as well as making a personal connection with them!
When not in the office Jessie loves spending time with her boyfriend, family and friends. She loves traveling to the cape in the summers and spending her days boating or relaxing at the beach and wearing sunscreen!
Tara
CERTIFIED MEDICAL ASSISTANT / LICENSED MEDICAL ESTHETICIAN
Tara has been a certified medical asst for the past 5 years and a licensed medical esthetician for over 20yrs. She enjoys being able to wear both hats and balance the two titles. There is nothing more rewarding to her than seeing a patient’s face and their reaction to there skin after a Diamond Glow. She also enjoys the reward of seeing a patient being helped with their skin care needs of all kinds.
When Tara isn’t making patient’s feel their best she is spending time with her husband and two teenage boys. She enjoys traveling when she can, spending time at the beach and having a good bbq outside in the warmer months spending it with family and friends.
Jodian
PATIENT CARE COORDINATOR
Jodian is a Patient Care Coordinator who has an extensive background, and lots of love for the health and wellness field! Prior to working at Premier Dermatology, Jodian ran a Fitness & Nutrition business geared towards total health, and healing nutrition. She enjoys hiking, quality time with her son Zion, and cooking for her loved ones.
